Due to a Russian strike on logistics infrastructure, the delivery of some goods to certain stores is taking longer.
Supermarkets “Silpo” and “Forya”, which are part of Fozzy Group, have experienced supply disruptions after a Russian attack on warehouse and logistics infrastructure in the Kyiv region on August 5. In some stores, shoppers have noticed empty shelves and a reduced assortment. This is reported by “Glavcom” with reference to posts by Ukrainians on social media.
Shoppers report that the assortment has noticeably decreased in some stores. In particular, in Vinnytsia, there is a shortage of meat, vegetables, and fruits on some shelves.
Photos of announcements posted in “Silpo” supermarkets are also being shared on social media. In them, the company warns that after the Russian strike, the delivery of some products may take longer.
“Due to the consequences of the enemy attack on our logistics infrastructure, some goods require more time for delivery,” the announcement reads. At the same time, the network assures that the situation is temporary and the assortment will gradually be restored.

Forya employees explained that as a result of the Russian attack, important warehouses with products, as well as some inventory, equipment, and machinery, were destroyed. Therefore, some regular products may temporarily be unavailable on the shelves.
“But we are working. Every day we look for new solutions, restore supplies, and do our best to ensure that the essentials are nearby and that familiar products return to the stores as soon as possible,” the post states. At the same time, the company emphasizes that the stores continue to operate as usual.

Shoppers in Brovary also reported discounts on so-called “saved products” – goods that were salvaged after the attack. Fozzy Group expects that after logistics are adjusted, product supply to stores will gradually resume.
We remind you that on August 5, fires broke out at two distribution centers of the Silpo chain as a result of enemy shelling. Six company employees died as a result of the attack. The company expressed its sincere condolences to the families and friends of the deceased and noted that it is in constant contact with the relatives of the victims and is ready to provide them with all necessary assistance.
