Between August 17 and August 24, 2026, 218 individuals exhibiting signs of alcohol or drug intoxication and disturbing public order were identified.
During August 17-24, employees of the municipal organization “Municipal Guard” participated in approximately 400 events and incidents during round-the-clock patrols in Kyiv. Specifically, 286 curfew violations were recorded, and 218 individuals with signs of alcohol or drug intoxication were identified. This information is reported by “Glavkom,” citing the Department of Municipal Security of the Kyiv City State Administration.
According to the report, from August 17 to August 24, 2026, Municipal Guard employees conducted 24-hour patrols to secure municipal educational and medical institutions, as well as to maintain order in city parks and squares.
During this period, the following were recorded:
- 286 curfew violations;
- 218 instances of identifying citizens with signs of alcohol or drug intoxication who were disturbing public order;
- 36 responses to activated alarms in state institutions;
- 10 calls to emergency services to document offenses and provide medical assistance;
- four noise disturbances.

It is separately noted that 180 participants completed national resistance training courses.
As a reminder, the curfew in the capital is in effect daily from 00:00 to 05:00. Being outdoors during this time is permitted only when proceeding to a shelter during an air raid alert or with a special pass.
In the Odesa region, curfew restrictions for the transit movement of all types of transport have been lifted. This decision was made by the Odesa Regional Military Administration to simplify and expedite logistics for citizens and carriers. The changes apply to movement in both directions on roads of national importance. Passage is permitted from the Kyiv highway along the bypass road of the city of Odesa towards the international border crossings “Palanka,” “Starokozache,” “Orlivka,” and “Reni.”
