As reported by Ukrinform, this was stated in the President’s Telegram channel.
“During the audience with His Majesty, the King of the Belgians, Philippe, I spoke about the effects of Russian attacks on Ukraine, particularly the damage to the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra. We discussed the necessity of increasing sanction pressure on Russia, the situation at the front, and diplomatic efforts with partners,” the statement reads.
Furthermore, the European integration of Ukraine and the development of defense cooperation were addressed during the meeting.
Ukrinform previously reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy is scheduled to hold a series of meetings in Belgium with European leaders, NATO officials, and Belgian authorities.
